Get rewarded for heroic gameplay feats

Taking lessons learned from our preseason and other projects, we are looking to redesign the season 1 competition structure to have broader appeal to casual gamers and multiple play styles.

Heroism Points

We will create a new points structure called ‘Heroism Points’ which accumulate daily, weekly and monthly depending on various ladders. $RIFT rewards will be claimable monthly on the basis of Heroism Points.

ChronoPoints Multiplier

Chronopoints rank will multiply heroism points as they are earned:

  1. Top 100 = 2x

  2. Top 101-1000 = 1.75x

  3. Top 5000 = 1.5x

Season Event Leaderboard [ character-based, not account ]

  1. ‘Season Event’ leaderboard is determined each month by the number of successful defeats of the

  2. Maximum 1 attempts per character per day at the end-game dungeon

  3. Different points awarded based on completion at each party size (1,3,5) and difficulty chosen

  4. Still have a tie breaker in the data based on ‘first’ to hit their current count (who has the earliest last timestamp of current kill count)

  5. Difficulty curve should be such that Barbaric difficulty is pretty much guaranteed failure (helps split out leader board that some times try and fail)

Secondary Leaderboards [ character-based, not account ]

  1. Fastest times for each dungeon at highest difficulty for each group size (1,3,5) [weekly]

  2. Fastest solo times for each dungeon for each class at any difficulty [weekly]

  3. Most dungeon mobs killed cumulatively at highest difficulty ('Barbaric') [daily]

  4. Most resources contributed to a trading company [weekly]

  5. Most perfect crafts [daily]

  6. Most umu badges [weekly]

  7. Most XP [monthly]

  8. Highest total gear/power level character [monthly]

  9. AI generated daily quests at the post office (WIP feature, more details soon) that will also reward some base heroism points if completed and for streaks. Optional on-chain basic sign in quest linked.
